He heads the FCA department that is responsible for identif ying and prioritising risks of consumer harm and o pportunities to support growth across the insuranc e markets\, for insurance policymaking and for set ting the strategy across these markets. He also ma intains oversight responsibility for the work of F CA actuaries across the life insurance and funeral plans sectors. Andrew has 12 years of experience working for the regulator and has led or been invo lved in a number of FCA reviews including those in to &lsquo\;non-advised annuity sale practices&rsqu o\;\, the &lsquo\;fair treatment of with-profits c ustomers&rsquo\;\, and the &lsquo\;fair treatment of long-standing customers&rsquo\;. Prior to regul ation\, Andrew worked for more than 10 years in th e life insurance industry in the UK and South Afri ca.\n \n Craig is the manager of the Analysis\, Strategy and Engagement team within the Insurance Market Analysis and Policy Department. He is resp onsible for overseeing the analysis of the Insuran ce market including Personal and Commercial Lines insurance\, Wholesale insurance\, Life insurance a nd Funeral Plans. He is also responsible for leadi ng the work to develop the insurance strategy and work plans and for the Insurance Regulatory Priori ties report &ndash\; published in February 2026 &n dash\; and Insurance&rsquo\;s engagement strategy. Craig has worked in various roles across the FCA over the past 11 years and previous to the FCA\, w orked in a Life insurance firm for 8 years in a ri sk role.\n \n \n \n \n Delegates part icipating in the accredited webinar can claim up t o 1 CPD hour towards the CII member CPD scheme.
