 		&nbsp\;\n \n 			Julie has worked in the General 
 Insurance and Financial Services sector for 35 yea
 rs working for Insurance Intermediaries.&nbsp\; Mu
 ch of her career has been in the world of complian
 ce and regulation\, spending the last 20 years loo
 king after Risk &amp\; Compliance for a large inte
 rmediary in Somerset which involved developing and
  implementing policies and procedures\, horizon sc
 anning and providing advice and guidance to the di
 fferent branches within the group.&nbsp\; She has 
 achieved a number of qualifications including the 
 Diploma in Compliance and Fellowship of the Intern
 ational Compliance Association\, the Diploma in Fi
 nancial Planning and Certificate in Insurance with
  the Chartered Insurance Institute.&nbsp\;Julie jo
 ined BIBA as the Head of Compliance in March 2024 
 and is passionate about helping members with all r
 egulatory related enquiries as well as hosting the
  Regional Compliance Forums\, discussing relevant 
 topics with the FCA and other regulatory bodies.&n
 bsp\; Her mantra is to help and support members by
  deciphering rules and regulations\, making them e
 asier to understand.\n 			In her spare time\, Juli
 e is a qualified personal trainer and boxercise co
 ach and enjoys riding her motorcycle with her husb
 and\, exploring the UK and Europe.\n \n 			Vanness
 a Young has been working in the insurance industry
  for more than thirty years.&nbsp\; She began her 
 career as a journalist and Editor working on speci
 alist insurance publications for the Financial Tim
 es\, moving to the Corporation of Lloyd&rsquo\;s a
 nd has also at an internet compliance start-up.&nb
 sp\; At BIBA she holds a number of roles\, includi
 ng compliance\, &nbsp\;looking after our governanc
 e through our Advisory Boards and most recently ou
 r Social Commitment Policy\, working to ensure tha
 t we act ethically\, sustainably and have a positi
 ve community impact whatever we&rsquo\;re doing as
  an association.&nbsp\;\n \n 			In her spare time\
 , she enjoys theatre\, glass blowing and collectin
 g\, fine and contemporary art and travelling the w
 orld to visit collections including her most memor
 able trip to Victor Delfin&rsquo\;s studio in Peru
 . Her favourites museums remain London-based thoug
 h in the Wallace Collection and the glass gallery 
 at the V&amp\;A.\n 			\n 		\n 		\n 			\n 			Delega
