BIBA webinar - Data Breach Claims presented by BLM

Data breaches are now common features of the news and risk agenda, and civil claims which arise from them becoming more and more common. This session will include up-to-date guidance on the latest case law and give practical advice on how to assess and respond to data protection claims, along with providing a map of the wider privacy landscape post-Brexit. 

Learning Objectives:

  • A better understanding of the current state of Data Protection Law post-Brexit
  • An up-to-the-minute analysis of the UK’s proposed future approach to Data Protection and divergence from the EU Model
  • A full overview of the basis for bringing Data Protection Claims, along with guidance on Quantum
  • An ability to identify problem issues and the ability to identify more problematic and potentially higher-value claims
