Invitation to informal evening with BIBA's
West of England Committee

Hello,

I am really excited to let you know that I have been appointed Chair of our newly rejuvenated West of England Committee.
 
The West of England has not had a BIBA committee for several years and I am delighted to tell you that the new committee members, who are listed here joined me recently for our first regional meeting.  There we agreed that we would do everything we can to build a vibrant BIBA community in our region. We want to work with you to help you get the most out of your BIBA membership and to give you plenty of opportunities to join in and have your say, we want to make a real difference in our region.
 
BIBA regional committees give you a conduit into BIBA at the highest level via its Regional Chairs Advisory Board made up of all of the UK’s regional chairs. We can take your views, queries and concerns, escalate these and call on the BIBA team to lobby on issues that matter to you locally and nationally.  We also plan to look at the needs of young insurance professionals in our region and in particular, ways we can help them to succeed and thrive in our industry and to become the leaders of tomorrow.  
 
We can only succeed in our ambition to make a difference with your help. So we would like to invite you to meet with us at an informal evening on 16 February in a private room at Totos by the River, 125 Redcliff St, Redcliffe, Bristol BS1 6HU. Whether you simply want to find out more about what our plans are for our region, or if you would like to make a contribution and join the committee, or simply meet you local peers, please do come along and find out more about how by working together we can make our regional broking offering stronger.
 
The event will be sponsored by Manchester Underwriting Management, one of BIBA’s PI scheme providers, so come and share a drink and a chat with us, it would be great to see you in person at Totos.
