BIBA webinar - An update on standards impacting security systems, security services, fire and life safety presented by NSI (National Security Inspectorate) 

NSI appear in insurers conditions, risk improvement and customer guidance notes on security and fire, providing a register of approved companies carrying their Hallmark. 

 

NSI subject matter experts will outline:

  • Recent new and updated standards pertinent in the Life Safety and Security Sectors in which they operate and the structure of standard developments in the UK.
  • The impact of the migration from the traditional telephone systems to digital platforms for connected alarm systems.
  • Recent changes to Confirmed Alarms, Police URN Availability for CCTV and New Standard for Alarm Handling by Alarm Receiving Centres
  • Current issues in the Manned Security Sector and the Code of Practice for the Provision of Labour in the Security and Events Sectors
  • The range of BAFE approval schemes focusing on BAFE SP205 Life Safety Fire Risk Assessment Scheme
