This session will give an overview of the excess liability market, the standard covers offered under an excess liability policy and the differing types of wording excess liability can be placed under. In addition, an overview of changes to the primary liability market will be discussed as well as the key drivers around why your insured may need to buy an increased limit of indemnity to ensure they are sufficiently protected.

  • Outline the key changes to the primary liability market and understand how excess liability can assist brokers with those changes.
  • Identify reasons an insured may require increased limits of indemnity.
