BIBA webinar - The Consumer Duty: Simplifying customer communications presented by Browne Jacobson

With the new Consumer Duty requiring firms to ensure their customers understand the products they are buying, we will be exploring different techniques to help communicate complex products as clearly as possible.  During this practical session we will examine drafting and presentational techniques, which are scientifically proven to improve readability and customer understanding.

Learning objectives:

  • To gain a better of understanding of what drives complexity (and reduces comprehension) in customer communications
  • To learn specific and straightforward drafting techniques that will improve readability and clarity
  • To understand how complex information and advice can be presented in different ways to improve your customers’ experience.

This webinar may count towards your continuing professional development (CPD) requirements and a formal completion certificate will be issued for members attending and returning a feedback form.
