Presenters: 
Laura Hancock – Managing Director – Yutree Insurance Ltd and Chair of the CII’s Broking Community Board

Laura has been in the profession for over 25 years. Having worked for a large insurer and a large national broker, she is now the Managing Director of independent, Chartered insurance broker, Yutree, in Suffolk with her co-directors and team.

Laura has held the role of Chair of the Anglia Region of BIBA, Chair of the Regional Chairs Advisory Board for BIBA as well as Deputy Chair on the BIBA main board. Laura now chairs the CII’s Broking Community Board and is a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion in insurance, raising standards in broking and attracting and retaining talent in the profession.

Sara Thake DipCII, Underwriter, Yutree Underwriting

Sara Thake DipCII entered the insurance sector in 2012 as a personal lines account handler specialising in High Net Worth. In 2015, Sara embarked on a new chapter in her career by joining Yutree Underwriting. Sara is now a key member of the Underwriting team, looking after a panel of brokers and underwriting across Yutree’s wide selection of products. Beyond her insurance career, Sara is a mother to two preschool boys, with her youngest being just 10 months old. Balancing the demands of her professional life with the joys and responsibilities of motherhood is a wonderful daily challenge!

Delegates participating in the accredited webinar can claim up to 1 CPD hour towards the CII member CPD scheme. A formal completion certificate will be issued for members attending and returning a feedback form.
