During 2020 and 2021, BIBA partnered with BIBA facility provider and leading workplace mental health and wellbeing consultancy, Mental Health in Business, to offer heavily subsidised Mental Health First Aid training to BIBA members.

We believe that mental health should be treated equally to physical health. And just like physical first aid, Mental Health First Aid training should be kept up to date. All (MHFA England) Mental Health First Aiders or MHFA Champions, should take the MHFA Refresher course every three years to:

• Renew their skills
• Update their knowledge of mental health support
• Practice applying the Mental Health First Aid action plan
• Access three years of new MHFAider® Support and Benefits

BIBA and Mental Health in Business, are now offering subsidised Mental Health First Aid Refresher training to BIBA members

This course is for anyone who has trained as a mental health first aider or champion with Mental Health First Aid England since 2020.

Places are also available to anyone else from a BIBA member firm who has participated in (MHFA England) Mental Health First Aid (2 day Adult or 1 day Champion) training.

This course is valued at £150 + VAT per person but we are offering it to BIBA members at just £50 + VAT. The course will be delivered in one day between 10am-3.30pm and involves a mix of presentations, discussions and activities.
