BIBA Schemes & Facilities webinar - Business Interruption claims, breaking the mystique presented by Lorega Ltd

Problems with BI claims often derive from cover misunderstandings though the policy wording actually sets out how sums insured should be calculated and can mitigate interruption. We will look at real life case studies to illustrate how flexible BI policies can be in supporting the insured.  

Learning objectives:

After attending this webinar, delegates should be able to:

  • Explain why the majority of problems in a claim relate to the business interruption wording.
  • Show how to approach calculating the sum insured correctly.
  • Identify areas to look out for when setting up the policy.
  • Describe how to make best use of the cover to mitigate the loss.
