BIBA's webinar - Cladding remediation: latest developments in Scotland presented by Clyde&Co

We will look at the key provisions of the Housing (Cladding Remediation) (Scotland) Act 2024. Among the key provisions of this legislation are the creation of a “Cladding Assurance Register”, with assessment and enforcement powers to be given to Scottish Ministers in respect of residential buildings, and the potential creation by Scottish Government of one or more “responsible developers” schemes. We will also look at the extent to which the Building Safety Act 2022 has an impact on Scotland.  These points are likely to be of interest to all those working in the built environment sector in Scotland, as well as those advising them.
