Understanding Credit Broking:
 Responsible Lending and Client Management presented by Premium Credit Limited 

BIBA Scotland Region putting a webinar for all BIBA members!

In this session, we’ll look at the importance of the Consumer Credit Sourcebook (CONC) which outlines what’s expected of insurance credit brokers when dealing with both non-regulated and regulated clients. Attendance to this session will provide you with confidence that you’re handling situations that commonly arise in the right way and efficiently. The focus of this session will be primarily on non-regulated clients and will equip you with the knowledge required to explain processes fluently to every client and set their expectations effectively.

The session will be approximately 1 hour long.

Learning objectives:

Following this webinar delegates should be able to:

  • Explore the purpose of CONC and how to adhere to its guidelines
  • Outline the  Vulnerable Customer Process
  • Define the Default Process
  • Discuss ways of managing agreements pro-actively

Delegates participating in the accredited webinar can claim up to 1 CPD hour towards the CII member CPD scheme. A formal completion certificate will be issued for members attending and returning a feedback form.
