Mental health on a shelf session |
Join us for Mental health on a shelf – A seasonal wellbeing afternoon As the holiday season approaches, we’re often met with festive cheer, but it’s also a time when stress, pressure, and feelings of isolation can weigh heavily. That’s why the BIBA Manchester Young Broker Committee is hosting an afternoon dedicated to promoting mental wellbeing for all insurance professionals as we head into the holidays. If this resonates why not join us on the afternoon of 21 November for “Mental health on a shelf”. Sponsored by Vista, UKGlobal Part of Howden and Towergate, this event brings together two dynamic speakers who will share their insights on resilience, mental health, and managing stress both at work and at home. The session will include: 🎄 Claire Russell: A leading expert on resilience, Claire will guide us through an interactive workshop designed to help you build mental strength in your professional and personal life. She’ll explore real-world scenarios that we face in the insurance industry, offering practical tools to manage stress during one of the busiest times of year. 🎅 Paul Wood: Former Rugby League player, Paul will lead a session on managing the pressures of workplace stress and home life, with a focus on strategies to cope with the unique challenges that can surface during the festive season. This is more than just a workshop – it’s a chance to open-up, connect with your peers, and bring the topic of mental health out of the shadows, especially during a time when many of us might feel the strain the most. Come join us whether you're just starting your career or well-established in the industry, for an inspiring afternoon filled with thought-provoking discussions, valuable self-care tools, and the opportunity to focus on what truly matters as we approach the holiday season. All insurance professionals are welcome! The event will gather donations in aid of Vista’s charity partner, Manchester Mind.
