Join the BIBA West Midlands committee and Birmingham Insurance Institute at Beazley's fabulous offices, with a sun terrace, for an excellent CPD event and a great opportunity to network with fellow insurance professionals.

Title of talk: Leading a business in an era of accelerating risk and an Introduction to the BIBA Event Insurance Scheme.

The first session will consider how business leaders feel about a variety of risks, based upon recent research interviewing thousands of directors. We will particularly focus on Environment, Boardroom risk and Cyber & Tech, looking at the trends and the role insurance has to play. The second session will give an overview of the enhanced event insurance proposition that BIBA brokers and their clients benefit from.

Learning objectives 

By the end of this session delegates should be able to:

• Describe the risk trends that business leaders are most concerned about
• Explain how insurance propositions are evolving to adapt to the changing needs of businesses
• Identify the benefits of the BIBA Event Insurance Scheme

Timings:

• 17.00 – 17.30pm Welcome drinks on the terrace (weather permitting)
• 17.35 - 17.40pm BIBA & BII welcome
• 17.40 - 18.10pm Beazley CPD session
• 18.10 - 20.00pm Drinks & nibbles to enjoy the rest of the evening and network with your peers.
