Sam has over 35 years’ underwriting experience. Most of Sam’s career has been in legal expenses insurance (LEI) but for the last decade he has written specialist intellectual Property Insurance (IPI).

Murray is the former Group Head of Legal Services at Abbey Protection Group Limited and LHS LLP Solicitors which, together, formed Markel Law. As a barrister and legal expenses insurance specialist he has over 35 years of industry experience.
