Presenters - Matt Shaw & Mathew Payne

Matt is HSB’s Digital Operations Manager.  He joined HSB in 2023 and is responsible for developing and implementing HSB’s E-Trade account development and growth plans.  Alongside this, Matt is responsible for raising HSB’s market presence through the strategic development of digital platforms and leading a team of dedicated E-Trade technical Underwriters.  Matt has over 20 years of experience within the Insurance market, predominantly within Construction and Engineering specialisms but with market background across several commercial product classes.

Mathew Payne is an accomplished E-Trade Development Underwriter at HSB with extensive expertise in computer and cyber insurance. Over his career, Mathew has become a key advocate of promoting the benefits of e-traded business within insurance, in addition to driving innovation in product development and digital transformation.
