What organisations require Directors’ & Officers’ and Employment Practices liability and why?  In this short interactive webinar, we provide an overview of the emerging exposures for directors and organisations, the key benefits of these insurances to customers, claim examples and summarise the key aspects of policy cover.

Learning objectives:

By the end of this webinar, delegates should be able to:

  • Identify the risks faced by directors and officers in the UK and the risk faced by organisations arising out of employment law
  • Outline the different types of claim that would be covered under a Directors' and Officers' Liability insurance policy or Employment Practices Liability policy
  • State the benefits of Directors' and Officers' Liability insurance and Employment Practices Liability insurance to both individual directors and officers and their organisations
  • Describe the cover provided by a Management Liability policy in respect of both Directors' and Officers' Liability and Employment Practices Liability risks
  • Identify the benefits of using Broker Assess to manage learning and compliance of broking competencies including D&O and EPL

Presenter - Neil Park

Neil is an experienced trainer and consultant currently working in the insurance industry in the United Kingdom and internationally.
He delivers face to face and virtual workshops in technical insurance, broking and negotiation skills. He also trains and support candidates taking their Chartered Insurance Institute Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma examinations.
He draws on a strong commercial insurance background after working for twenty years for international brokers both in London and North America where he leads teams and managed major client relationships

Delegates participating in the accredited webinar can claim up to 1 CPD hour towards the CII member CPD scheme. A formal completion certificate will be issued for members attending and returning a feedback form.
