Get a clear overview of the key considerations when advising clients on renovation projects. We’ll outline where standard buildings insurance policies fall short, the basics of contract responsibilities, and when specialist renovation cover, including non‑negligence, is needed.

Learning objectives:

By the end of this webinar, delegates should be able to:

  •
  •
  • Outline the purpose of renovation insurance and how it differs from standard property cover.
  • Identify the key pitfalls of standard buildings insurance.
  • Define the responsibilities placed on property owners under different contract types e.g. JCTs.
  • Explain what Non‑Negligence Liability insurance is and the scenarios in which it is required.
