Invitation: The long game, building value that lasts
Tuesday 27 October 2026, Hotel du Vin, Birmingham

I would like to invite you to a lunch and learn session we are running in Birmingham on Tuesday 27 October, in partnership with nCino.

It’s built for small and medium-sized brokers, principals and senior leaders who want a business that holds its value, whether the plan is to stay fiercely independent or to gear up for a sale in the future. Consolidators are buying well run, well evidenced businesses, and the FCA expects good outcomes to be proved at every turn. Either way, the fundamentals are the same; clean data, provable compliance, and a growth engine that doesn’t rely on you.

Date: Tuesday 27 October 2026
Location: Hotel du Vin, 25 Church St, Birmingham B3 2NR
Time: 12:00 - 14:00
Cost: This event is free to attend and lunch will be provided

In this over lunch session we will cover how to:

  • Grow a pipeline you can prove, without a corporate budget behind it
  • Show compliance that stands up to scrutiny, across every desk
  • Build a business that stands on its own, not on its owner

You will hear from brokers who have actually done it:

  • Peter Robinson, Managing Director, Prizm Solutions Insurance and Chair of BIBA West Midlands Committee
  • Rob Nicholls, Branch Director, Everywhen Lincolnshire, and Deputy Chair and Young Broker Ambassador, BIBA East Midlands Committee
  • Gareth Roberts, Group Development Director, UKGI and Adler Fairways
  • Panel host - Angela Irvine, Regional Sales Director, Howden

Places are limited and it’s a small room by design, so the conversation stays honest. If you’d like to join us, reply to me or RSVP to Marta or there is a registration link here if easier.
